Bellina seems made to wear this gown inspired by a gown in the Sofia Coppola-directed Marie-Antoinette film from 2006. I thoroughly enjoyed her interpretation of Antonia Fraser's biography of the much maligned queen of France, and was tickled to see this (unlicensed? FOR SHAME!) interpretation of the black gown she wears to Paris in disguise. When Rachel repainted Bellina, I asked for extra rosy cheeks as a little nod to the heavily-rouged cheeks of 18th century France. So haute!
